Our amazing client is looking for a Supplier Relations Program Manager for exciting long term projects with a great team. This team is working Hybrid in Troy, Michigan at least twice a week. Initial duration is 6+ months and opportunity to become perm for the right candidate. This is a career building opportunity with a team we know well. Will be able to answer questions.
Position Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for delivery of the enterprise Supplier Performance Management (SPM) program.
- The position will coordinate across the enterprise with First Line of Defense (FLOD) Supplier Relations Managers (SRMs) and Supplier Initiative Managers (SIMs).
- The purpose is to ensure required elements of the SPM program are delivered for designated suppliers.
- The position will maintain the governance program for the enterprise and closely work with Enterprise Risk - Third Party Risk Management to ensure supplier performance metrics are collected, analyzed, monitored and reported to management.
- The primary functions include building the governance program, development and maintenance of procedures to ensure alignment with intra-agency and regulatory guidance for supplier management.
- The primary function will be coordinating the updates for the supplier performance scorecards and related supporting operational documentation; partnering with managed service providers and other suppliers to enhance risk management.
- Overall, this position will also be required to enforce the SPM program requirements and challenge and or validate reported information, recommend risk acceptance standards, report on performance management required actions and deliver information that will be included in Corporate Board Reporting and other risk governance committees.
- This position manages the supplier performance risk and results and will be required to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with a strong commanding presence.
- The position requires strong communications skills with experience in continuous improvement and process improvement.
- This position will work closely with all risk management areas and SRMs.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field or 4 years of relevant experience
- 5 years experience in managing suppliers or third-party product/service providers
- 5 years experience in analytical skills and working with metrics
- 5 years experience in communication and collaboration across teams
- 5 years experience in presenting to management
